10 months in the making, finally a headphone amplifier.
Main Features
The MIG-15 is a powerful portable audiophile amplifier for in-ear monitors as well as large headphones.
Powered by two AAA rechargeable batteries but delivers 5 volts peak to peak, higher than most commercial amplifiers which outputs a low 3.7 volts. The secret lies in its carefully designed voltage booster circuitry followed by a high quality voltage regulator plus out of production blackgate power supply capacitors which in altogether, delivers noise free and clean power to the amplifier.
The MIG-15 is equipped with high quality components.
It uses hand-matched military spec Vishay Dale resistors. Used in high-end amplifiers, They are far more accurate and delivers deeper bass than generic resistors. The volume control module is a Japan-made Alps potentiometer, hand-matched to ensure sufficient channel matching between the left and right sound channels, allowing low-volume balanced sound.
Housed in a strong anodized black aluminum casing.
The MIG-15 is fitted into a compact credit card sized casing, almost every available space inside is used to house the large audiophile components.
3-Channel topology
Active ground channel ensures better channel separation. It also improves the soundstage.
Gain Switch
2-way micro switch allows you to select gain of 3, for in-ear monitors, or gain of 6 for headphones.
Customer Assurance
All MIG-15 amplifiers sold are covered by limited 2 year warranty.
